Customer Projects!

Between shoveling slush and doing paperwork, this day off is not furnishing me with any writing inspiration, but my customers always are inspiring.  So here are some great projects for your delectation:

Bev Kapelski finished her beautiful Fabergé shawl and came in to model it:

Here is a detail, don’t know whether you can make out the beads on the fretwork.  So pretty!

We saw two finished Natsumi’s lately.  Here is Deb Hawk’s:

and here is Jill Pelcher:

Neither of these photos shows the dropped back hem, which I love.  Congrats to both for great-looking sweaters!

Dottie Ritter made one of our market bags and is contemplating different colors for another, smaller version, which of course has given me the urge to make another, smaller version too!

David Lutz is a fairly new knitter, and has found a hobby he loves.  Here is his first hat:

His second hat is already on his needles, along with an afghan and a scarf!  He’s a true knitter, we can’t have just one project going, right?

Irma Deiderick brought in her finished Guernsey Wrap, in this brilliant blue shade of Classy.  Very nice job!

Becky Steltz has found out she’s going to be a grandmother – she’s thrilled!  Since she doesn’t know the gender yet, she’s been making hats for boys and girls out of her leftovers from other projects.  Those grandmotherly urges have got to come out somehow, right?  These are just a few of the dozen or so that she has made:

Anne Nordhoy made this adorable cap and added a luscious fur pom-pom she found at a knitting show.  Love it!

I’m working on my second Hawser, which I think may become a turtleneck this time, and a few things for spring, and some smaller projects as well.  My goal this week is to get decent photos of some of these projects to show you next time.  Off to shovel more slush!
