Showing you some of our spring and summer sweaters.  You’ve seen some before but spring is really here.  Come in and try them on!

We just received our shipment of Shibui Linen in sophisticated neutrals for summer.  We made Carol Feller’s “Adrift” in this light 100% linen chainette.  I love it!  Casual or dressed up with some jewelry, you can wear this even on the hottest day of the year.  (Some day it will be hot again.  I can’t wait to complain about the heat!)

This little number called “50 Shades of Linen” is quick and easy.  I made it in a pearly silver 100% linen from Marks & Katten, but it would be pretty gorgeous in a bright red or lime green Hempathy, too.  Casual, drapy, light – all those good summery features:

Donna finished the Clayton Mill cardigan model for the class she’s teaching.  It’s a beautiful spring cardy – I can easily see it at an Easter brunch or thrown on for a stroll through the park on a spring afternoon.  It’s a simple shape, so it can go over anything – the story is in the lovely details:

Janet finished her Top-Down Summer Cardigan model for her class.  Again, a simple shape that can go with anything, a versatile layer for spring and summer:

And Light Trails will get you through the cool days of spring and the cool evenings of fall.  We made it in a light-weight wool, but it’s definitely do-able in cotton as well – maybe our lovely Ardent, a hand-dyed cotton/bamboo blend?

One more pretty little sweater to show you next week!  I’ll leave you with this image of how Purl dealt with a rainy weekend at the shop:

Napping in bed with our favorite toys – isn’t that what we all wanted to do?
