It’s the end of July and we’re having a beautiful cool, clear morning like it’s the end of September. We’re so lucky to have this respite from heat and humidity – I hope everyone is getting the chance to enjoy it. I have a bunch of projects from our customers to show you but first, I want to remind you that our KAL in memory of Pat Darosh begins Sunday, August 2. We’ll meet every Sunday in August from 2:00 – 4:00 to work on your choice of one of two projects: either the One-Skein Triangle Scarf (beginner level) or a shawl called The Happier Side of Goodbye (advanced). There’s no charge for the KAL but 25% of the price of any materials you purchase for the projects will go to an animal rescue, since Pat was a dog lover extraordinaire. I hope you can join us!

Nikki Shouwer did this whole coverup in seed stitch (!!), also in Remix. Love the color:
Kasey Angstadt worked on this beautiful baby blanket (pre-blocking) to meet a deadline. That took dedication!
Beth Gatsch is a fairly new knitter – this is her first sweater! She did a wonderful job, learned a lot, and has a beautiful piece to show for it:
Michele Wheatley made “Orinne” in this pretty lilac shade of Modern Cotton. (I wasn’t allowed to show her, so off with her head, on purpose this time!)
Diane Kadyk made this hat in Aventura for her husband. It’s crocheted sideways, then felted a bit. He loves it!
