Casapinka’s Ravelry page for this knit-along is up! There are still not a lot of details but read what she has to say; she’s lots of fun. The first clue (of 6) is to be released Saturday August 14, so our first meet-up will be Sunday, August 15, 2 – 4 p.m. and if you’re going to come on Wednesdays instead (or also: feel free to come to both), the first meeting will be on August 18, 4 – 6 p.m. Don’t forget that, if I don’t already have your vax details, you need to show me your card (or a copy) when you pay for your yarn. And if you prefer to mask up anyway, please feel free!

Call me prejudiced but I think these sets are totally gorgeous, far more beautiful than the ones on her Rav page. I can’t add any more to my order because I’ve increased it twice already and every time I do, it delays shipment a couple of days, so if you’re on the fence, it’s too late. If you’re on the waiting list, keep your fingers crossed!
Now, our lovely cashmere-blend yarn sets are going to cost $136, and that is the price of admission to our meet-ups; in other words, there is no charge for the get-togethers. Casapinka’s charge for the pattern is $12 and you can purchase that directly on Ravelry or from me at the store. If you want me to print the clues for you as they are released, it’s $1.50 per clue (and if you hand me a card for that, I won’t be responsible for the consequences!)
Phew, okay, that’s the business side of things covered, I think. I will call everyone on the list when the yarn arrives and once you’ve paid, we’ll wind it for you. I predict our first meeting will have not much knitting and a lot of getting organized in it. Will there be Flamethrowers? If so, there may not be much organizing either!!
