Fall Classes Are Up!

Except for the ridiculous temperatures, everything is telling us that autumn is right around the corner.  The kids are back to school.  We’ve noticed that the days are getting shorter.  I look out my back windows and the trees look green and fresh, but I look out my front windows and see a few brown sycamore leaves drifting to the ground. At the shop, we’ve been thinking about fall for weeks, figuring out how to fit all the classes we want to teach into the time we have.  I think we have a really great schedule, with two beautiful sweaters, some simple accessories, and some more challenging projects.

Top row: Unda Shawl, Clouds in My Coffee Cardigan, Close to You Shawl
Bottom Row: Basic Handwarmers, Cardamom Coffee Hat, Cranberry Gose Pullover

The one thing you won’t see on the schedule yet is the project I talked about last time, the Churchmouse Car Coat.  I love the design and the class will come, but I won’t schedule it until I have plenty of the yarn I want to use, (which, by the way, will be about half the cost of the yarn Churchmouse used, hooray!) so the class will begin rather late in the fall, I think.  If you want to be called when I schedule the class, let me know and I’ll start a list.

I’ve spent a lot of time at my desk these past two weeks, so I’m going to go do something else, and let you read about the classes online.  Hope you find something you’d love to knit!!
