Today I’m going to catch up with your very own finished projects. Get ready, there’s a lot of inspiration coming your way:
First I want to brag on our very own Janet, who made the gorgeous Easy Folded Poncho in Shibui’s Cima and Silk Cloud in this amazing rich shade of dark gray, then made lovely arm warmers in a matching shade of Maai, also from Shibui. She looks so great!
Talented and generous Amy Wall finished this Hawser in a spring-y shade of green. Shhh, it’s a surprise gift!
Najma Iqbal completed her second Scalene Shawl, using Zauberball in her favorite fall colors. It’s a small shawl, but on Najma’s tiny frame it looks a like a big wrap. Nice job!
Anne Alderman has been busy knitting for months, and found even more time when she was recuperating from surgery. She got a lot accomplished! She looks terrific in her Napa Pullover, knitted from Mountain Colors’ River Twist:
and her Seacoast in sky blue Maxima is lovely!
Nikki Schouer did a beautiful job on her version of Vitamin D. She wasn’t sure about it at first, but found that she wore it again and again this spring and loves it!
Rochelle Mann knits beautifully and designs her own sweaters. She made this tailored jacket from luxurious wool and silk Venezia with cables and texture galore.
Carol Sullivan recently got back into knitting and (sniff!) is moving shortly to Pittsburgh. She decided to make this pretty pillow for her new home, using Manos Wool Clasica and Berroco Inca Tweed. Beautiful job!
Marta Zipin used Cascade’s fuzzy colorful synthetic Pluscious to make booties for her little granddaughter Eleanor. So cute and cozy!
And one more bit of eye candy – a batch of pretty colors of Fino for all your summer shawls – come see!
