It's Mornings Like This…

…that I think about all the wonderful cozy big scarves that are hanging at the shop and wonder why the heck all I have at home to walk the dogs is a skimpy little lace thing made from a couple of leftover balls of a discontinued yarn!  It’s definitely a case of the shoemaker’s children having no shoes!  And to add insult to injury, here’s what Pinterest sent me this morning:

Meanwhile, the shop is veritably festooned with fabulous cozy scarves and cowls:

I’m making everyone big luscious scarves for the holidays, including me!

Right now, though, I’m busy making a hat and mitts set from the newest Dream Club yarn this month.  Very much fun and really pretty.  There should be a few extra skeins for sale after the members have picked theirs up if you’d like to try them out.

And Karen has finished our latest version of our ever-popular Napa Pullover, done with a strand of Ella Rae Sport and a strand of Sausalito held together to make a really pretty fabric:

We have great color combinations to show you, and this sweater will be the most versatile thing in your closet this winter; you’ll reach for it every blustery day.  I love the fashionable length. She made it a bit longer than usual so it’s wearable over leggings or skinny jeans, too.

See, doesn’t she look happy?  You will be, too!
