Catching Up

I have a bunch of photos to show you from the last couple of weeks, so I’ll get right to that, after I say that I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving and didn’t eat too much or shop too much!

First, I want to show you 2 more one-skein projects for EcoDuo.  Karen did this terrific hat from a free pattern on Ravelry – I forget what it was called, sorry:

and Janet made this gorgeous cowl, also from a free Ravelry pattern, also name forgotten:

Aren’t they beautiful?  The patterns are identified at the shop, I just forgot to write them down.

As many of you know, Donna went to Arizona to visit her sister and pick up their new dog, Taylor.  Here they are:

Donna says she is adapting well to her new family and new climate.  You can probably imagine the beautiful sweaters this little dog will own soon.

Donna also crocheted this poncho for her niece, to coordinate with the dress you can see at the bottom of this picture.  Perfect color coordination:

Very cute!

Danielle Smith finished another beautiful baby blanket:

Here is a detail showing the cable and the background stitch.  Really something to be treasured:

She also finished a beautiful Wingspan in Silk Garden Sock, in the jewel tones that look so great on her:

and another view:

Adele Miller did a meticulous job on this beautiful sweater from a Mari design:

Here is a closeup of the cable at the shoulder, such a pretty detail:

Virginia Griffith made this pretty jacket in Noro Kocheron.  I’d like to blame the fuzzy picture on the fuzzy yarn, but Virginia isn’t fuzzy, so chalk it up to my amazing photographic skills:

Cathy Hoffman did a great job on her kimono in Coffee Beenz and wears it with a fun little scarf she made a couple of seasons back:

Sandy Albert has been making scarves for gifts, using up stash (and of course buying a little new to use it up with.) Here are some of her scarves:

Karla Renninger, a devoted Packers fan, made a pair of socks, then used up every last inch of her specially-dyed Packer-colored yarn in these little footies.  I love the oddball toe:

Karen Wenrich made this Adult Surprise Jacket for her son’s sweetheart.  I snapped a picture while we were picking out a button.  Love the sophisticated colors she used:

Nancy Rambo sent this photo of her pretty granddaughter modeling the beret she made:

And here is a great finale to all these great projects: Janice Bieber, exuberantly happy that her Nanook in Venezia Worsted is finished, and in a color to brighten any day:

Don’t miss David’s Lighthouse Gansey photos in the posts below.  It’s just gorgeous, and he’s off on another challenging pattern already.

By the way, thanks to all of you who have shopped with us over the last couple weeks, we’ve reached $295 so far to be donated to the American Red Cross for Sandy relief.  (Our campaign ends at Christmas.)

See you soon..
