I hope everyone has taken the opportunity to vote today, despite the rain and everything else that may get in your way. I certainly think it’s worth the trouble to have your say!
So I got that out of the way early and I’m spending the rest of the day indoors feeling snug and virtuous. I’m happy to say that I have finished my Car Coat which is blocking upstairs as I write.

I think it will be dry by the weekend or a bit before so you can come try it on and if you like it, you can get on the list for the class that will be happening immediately after the holidays. It’s a big project but weighs almost nothing – I’m pretty sure you’ll love it!
I was monogamous to the Car Coat at home, but worked on other things at the shop and finished my Clementine cowl. It was really fun to do, and I love how the colors blended, and it’s so soft – just a really pretty accessory.

And I was so happy to finish the Car Coat that to celebrate I whipped this fun Two-Point Cowl out in about (it seemed) 2 minutes, using a new yarn that just came in called Stargazer Brushed from Juniper Moon, another yarn that weighs almost nothing and is soft and warm. This little mini-poncho is really a practical piece for outside or inside and takes very little time.

It’s designed in two weights, bulky and sport, so it would make an appropriate gift for any climate. We dug through the box so often that I just didn’t get a picture taken of the colors; you’ll have to see for yourself.
So I’m project-less for the moment and gosh, that feels wonderful! So many, many possibilities out there – what shall I start now? I’m eyeing this
for a quick cardigan, but do I want to start another sweater when small projects are so appealing? I love being wide open – oh, gosh, then there are these beautiful new shades of Tennen from Noro –

– that pink!!! HELP!!
