I finished Abulon
and I love it. I think it will be a class sometime because it was interesting and a lot of fun to make. When I make it again, I think I’ll have a little less contrast between the layers so the window effect will be a little more subtle.
Now I’m pouting because no new yarn has come in and I don’t want to start anything that will take a long time because I want to be open when the new stuff starts arriving. So, what to do?? Still a lot of knitting weather left, I’m afraid, if this snowy, sleety morning is anything by which to judge. (Okay, I wrote “anything to judge by,” then Miss Black from 8th grade English class bared her amazingly prominent teeth at me and I had to change it. She’s pretty terrifying even though she’s been dead for 30 or 40 years.)
Off to the shop to see what the situation is like before I drag the dogs there and before Karen gets on the road, and maybe to find something fun and quick to knit!
