Our Fabulous Customers!

Today I want to brag a little on our wonderful, talented, dedicated customers! They make the most beautiful things, and I wish there was an Olympic knitting team because I know some people would definitely make the cut.

First, I want to show some of the car coats that we finished up in the spring. This project took a lot of time and concentration – there was something going on all the time, with lots of referring back and forth between the Churchmouse pattern and my changes, so it wasn’t a breeze. But completely worth it, don’t you think?

And Anne Alderman made the car coat as well as a cowl, a shawl, and a sweater, plus a lot of charity knitting:

Heather Christie made this pretty Soul Warmer cowl from Fino mini-skeins:

Vicki Gibley took our Dottie Mitts class, then had the great idea to make a Shift cowl to match:

Linda Seifarth loves making little projects as gifts and made a bunch of cute ones this past winter. Love those Scrunchie hand warmers:

Cindy Schuchart made this striking table runner from a scarf pattern called Oak Park, inspired by the houses designed by Frank Lloyd Wright:

Jettie Hunt finished her beautiful Unda Shawl, combining two-color garter stitch with brioche:

And there are a bunch of lucky babies who have people who love them and knit for them!

Karen Wenrich made these adorable pieces for her new grandson:

Amy Wall always lets her giftees choose their gifts – very daring – and made this absolutely gorgeous baby blanket for her niece’s (I think) new baby:

And I think this is the piéce de resistance. Marci Frey made this collection for the new baby of a colleague at work! I love every single thing about this, including the carefully-chosen little ribbons on the booties:

You people constantly amaze me – heartfelt thanks for knitting with us and showing your finished projects!
