What I should be doing is finishing up all the figures for 2018 and diligently gathering tax information to send off to my brother-in-law. What I am doing is anything but.
Cleaning the refrigerator. Diligently cleaning up that dried-up old red wine puddle behind the vegetable drawer.
Sorting my underwear drawer. Inter-mingling between bras and camisoles is now verboten!
And this is really lame: Washing out the bottoms of my reusable plastic grocery bags.
I’m afraid it’s really time to tackle the annual slog through all the records and files and get them into some kind of coherent order. But first, I really should write a blog post, and my fingernails are really a bit too long to type well, and the drawer where I keep the nail clippers and files really is a shambles…
Tomorrow I will definitely tackle the taxes.
On a happier note, we received some beautiful new yarn in the past week or so!
These are the colors of Feliz that came in:
It’s the gorgeous new yarn from Manos, superwash blend of wool and modal, that I used for Albuquerque Sunset.
And here are fun kid colors of Regia Pairfect sock yarn, made in 60g balls for a pair of kid’s socks or some sweet hand warmers. The yarn tells you where you are in the sock and lets you know where to start the second one so you get a perfect match.
And some new colors for adult-size socks, too:
Yum, yum, yum. So tempting! Another potential distraction from taxes. What will happen? Will she succumb?
Of course I will!
